Simone DeSouza qualifies for the 2008 Women's Golf National Championship Tournament while the Vulcans finish 4th overall
May 12, 2008 Allendale, Mich.-- The Cal U Women’s golf team competed in their second straight NCAA Regional Tournament last week in in Allendale, Michigan at Grand Valley State University. Playing under tough conditions throughout the tournament, the ladies finished in fourth place.

Batko and Lodovico tie for 6th place but fail to qualify for Men's Golf's National Tournament
May 12, 2008 Middletown, Del.-- Cal U was well represented at the NCAA Division II Regionals this past week at Back Creek Golf Club in Middletown, DE. Jon Lodovico (Manor, Pa./ Penn Trafford) and Brian Batko (Pittsburgh, Pa./ Central Catholic) tied for 6th place out of 45 players in the East Region.

Tennis brings 5th Regional Title to California this year with 6-0 win over Bloomsburg
May 12, 2008 South Park, Pa.-- For the fifth time this year, the Vulcans will be hoisting a Regional Championship banner in the confines of Hamer Hall. Women's Tennis, led by head coach Pablo Montana, brought home a 6-0 win over Bloomsburg to secure the fifth regional championship honor of the year for Cal.

Softball falls to Lock Haven 2-0 in a pitchers duel
May 12, 2008 Kutztown, Pa.-- Maria Greco (Pickering, Ont./ Notre Dame Catholic) and Sonia Petrosoniak (Mississauga, Ont./ Clarkson) combined to allow only four hits, and two walks but the two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning proved to be all the Bald Eagles would need to send the Vulcans to the losers side of the bracket with a 2-0 loss.
