KANSAS CITY, Mo. It is the second NSCAA honor for both Helbig and Luecke and marks the eighth time in the last 10 years that Cal U has had at least one selection to the All-Atlantic Region teams.

Luecke was the leading scorer for Vulcans and ranked second in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) during the 2009 season with 13 goals and six assists for 32 points. The senior forward started all 19 games this year and scored three game-winning goals. Luecke finished his career in second place in program history with 125 points behind 52 goals and 21 assists in his career.

Helbig tallied six goals to rank fourth on the team and also anchored the backline for the Vulcans. The 6-3 senior led the team with three goals on penalty kicks this season. Over the last three years, Helbig started 58 of 60 games.

Cal U finished the 2009 campaign with a 12-7 overall record and a 3-5 mark in PSAC West play. The Vulcans have posted nine winning seasons in the last 10 years, highlighted by winning their first-ever PSAC Tournament Championship in 2008.
