CALIFORNIA (Sept. 10) - The California University of Pennsylvania tennis program has announced a pair of schedule changes for the 2009-10 campaign, including the postponement of its scheduled season-opener at Division I Villanova tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 11.
The match against the Wildcats was postponed due to the weather forecast tomorrow in the Philadelphia area. No make-up date has been scheduled at this time.
The Vulcans have also changed the date of their spring match with NCAA Division III national-power Carnegie Mellon. The match against the Tartans originally was schedule for April, but has now been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 24, in Pittsburgh at 4 p.m.
Cal U, who advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the second time in three years last season, will now open its campaign next Saturday, Sept. 19, with a dual match at Kutztown.
