LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (March 10) – California University of Pennsylvania sophomore forward
Kelsey Williams (Sanduksy, Ohio/Sandusky) received All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Second-Team accolades on Wednesday afternoon, announced the league office.
Williams finished second on the Vulcans in scoring this season with a career-high 12.3 points per game after shooting 55.5 percent (137-of-247) from the field, which ranked sixth in the conference. The 6-7 sophomore also led the team with 5.6 rebounds and was among the league leaders with 1.0 block per game. This year, Williams recorded three double-doubles after posting two as a redshirt freshman last season.
The Ohio native was a preseason All-PSAC West selection after earning PSAC West Freshman of the Week honors a league-best six times last year, highlighted by four-straight weeks to close the season.
In two seasons with the program, Williams has averaged 12.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.0 block per game.
