Luke earns First-Team All-America honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (May 18) – For the first time in her career, California University of Pennsylvania junior Dianne Luke (Sarawak, Malaysia/Saint Columba) was recently named a National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American at the organization's awards banquet.

Luke was named a First-Team All-American and joins Simone DeSouza as the only NGCA All-Americans in program history. A native of Malaysia, Luke finished the year with a team-best 76.0 scoring average and posted top-10 finishes in 11 of the 12 events she played. She finished the season by placing sixth overall at the NCAA National Championships with an eight-over 296 (77-77-70-72).

The 5-2 junior is a two-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) performer and was named the PSAC Freshman of the Year in 2008-09. She has won three individual titles during her career and played in the NCAA National Championships every year, qualifying as an individual as a freshman.

In addition to the All-America honor, Luke also earned all-region honors from the NGCA. She is the only golfer from the PSAC to receive post-season accolades from the organization.
