Taylor Robblee (Woodstock, Ontario/College Avenue) was selected the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Pitcher of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Robblee helped the Vulcans post a 3-1 record to start the PFX Spring Games in Clermont, Florida, over the weekend. She allowed seven hits and one walk over 12.0 shutout innings while limiting opponents to a .175 batting average.
On Saturday, Robblee tallied a complete-game shutout in a 7-0 win over St. Cloud State of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), as she yielded five hits and one walk over 7.0 innings. She then registered a career-high eight strikeouts in just 5.0 innings on Sunday in a 10-0 run-rule victory against Concordia-St. Paul, also of the NSIC.
Robblee holds a 2-2 record with one save and a 0.98 ERA in six appearances this season. She has held opponents to a .208 average over a team-leading 21.1 innings pitched.
The reigning PSAC West Freshman of the Year, Robblee earned the weekly accolade for the first time in her career.
The Vulcans return to action in Florida at the PFX Games on Wednesday, March 15, when they face Philadelphia and Indianapolis.
